My Story
As a survivor of childhood trauma, I know firsthand the impact of adversity on a young life. But I also know the transformative power of hope, joy, and community.
Growing up, I endured violence and abuse, leaving scars that still linger. But at 11, a family friend gifted me a life-changing experience: summer camp. For the first time, I felt carefree, connected, and seen.
Those precious moments sparked a dream: to create a nonprofit girls’ camp, providing refuge and joy for young girls facing similar challenges.
God Starr Ministries is the first step toward making that vision a reality.
